Inês Mendes Gil enseigne le cinéma à l’Université Lusófona de Lisbonne. Elle a publié sa thèse de doctorat en 2005 ayant comme thème « L’Atmosphère Cinématographique ». Elle est réalisatrice de documentaires et d’installations vidéo, souvent en rapport avec le spirituel et le sacré. "Terre Promise" est son dernier film, un court métrage de fiction qui interprète le mythe de la relation entre Narcisse et Echo. Elle participe régulièrement aux jurys SIGNIS et œcuméniques dans le monde entier.

Inês Mendes Gil teaches film at Lusófona University in Lisbon. She published her PHD thesis in 2005, on “Cinematographic Atmosphere“. She produces documentaries and video installations, often related to spirituality and the sacred. “Terre Promise“ is her latest film, a short fiction film which interprets the myth of the relationship between Narcissus and Echo. She regularly participates in SIGNIS and ecumenical juries around the world.
