Uzak (Distance) was a Cannes award winner and a well-made study of loneliness in the Turkish countryside and in Istanbul. Climates was also a hit on the festival circuit. Any film which captures the present situation in Palestine and in Israel is welcome. This film is emotionally heavyweight but, as screenplay, it is dramatic-lite.
