Journaliste de formation, Praxedis Bouwman a travaillé pour plusieurs stations de radio publiques aux Pays-Bas, puis aux Antilles. Depuis 2000, elle est engagée dans l’Église évangélique luthérienne. Elle a été vice-présidente de l’Association mondiale pour la communication chrétienne (2008-2016) et est actuellement rédactrice en chef par intérim du magazine du Dutch Mission Council.

First journalist, Praxedis Bouwman worked for several regional and national public radio stations in the Netherlands, and abroad. Since 2000, she has been engaged in the Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was vice president of the World Association for Christian Communication (2008-2016) and is currently acting editor-in-chief of its cross-cultural theology magazine of the Dutch Mission Council.
